My three-year-old actually sits still to trace the spiral path with her finger, and the smooth wooden texture feels nice to hold. It’s been a surprisingly effective way to calm her down before bed without any screens.

The indented paths are deep enough that my kid’s fingers naturally follow the curves, and the double-sided design means we flip to a new pattern when one gets boring. I love watching her slow her breathing down as she traces the maze before bed.
