My toddler loves pointing out the different vegetables hiding in the garden scenes, and the playful rhymes keep him engaged through the whole story. The sturdy big book format holds up well to his enthusiastic page-turning.

The oversized pages make it perfect for circle time—my class can actually see the illustrations from the back row, and the playful text gets them giggling while we talk about how plants grow. We've read it three mornings in a row and they're still asking for it again.

My kids love spotting the tiny ladybugs hiding in the garden scenes on every page—the illustrations make it a fun challenge. The playful rhymes about plants growing up, down, and around really keep them engaged during story time.
