My 12-month-old loves grabbing these because the textured rings are just chunky enough for his small hands. The rattle sound is soft, not too loud, and it keeps him entertained while he learns to stack.

The rattles inside the rings are what keep my toddler interested, and the bright colors do grab her attention right away. She can grip them fine, but the rings slide off the stack a bit too easily when she shakes them, so it's more of a toss-and-rattle toy than a true stacking one.
