Picked this up for our preschool music corner and the metal ridges make a surprisingly clear, crisp sound when scraped with a thimble. It’s sturdy enough for little hands to hold while they experiment with rhythm.

My 4-year-old loves keeping time with this, and the metal ridges make a really crisp sound when you scrape them with a stick. It’s simple but holds up to enthusiastic play.

Bought this for our music corner and the kids love scraping the metal ridges with the included stick—it makes a really authentic old-timey sound. The wooden frame feels sturdy enough to survive daily toddler use.
