My son's reading confidence has jumped so much since we started these. The vocabulary is just right for his level—challenging enough to learn but not so hard he gets frustrated. Having eight different stories keeps him excited to pick up a book on his own.

My daughter just finished kindergarten and these books are perfect for her—the sentences are short enough that she doesn’t get frustrated, and the stories keep her interested. We read two of them together last night, and she was so proud to sound out words on her own.

These books have just the right amount of text for my first grader—she can read most of the words on her own, but still needs a little help with a few. The set of 8 gives us enough variety to keep her interested without being overwhelming. A solid, no-fuss way to practice reading at home.
