The 40-inch bowl is surprisingly sturdy at 83 lbs, so it doesn't tip over when my kids really get to digging. I love that the lid lets us cover it up between water play and sand sessions. This has been a fantastic addition to our sensory play routine.

I bought the 33-inch bowl for my kids’ outdoor play, and at 61 pounds it’s sturdy enough that they don’t tip it over. The included lid is handy for keeping leaves out when it’s not in use. It works fine as a sand table, though I wish the material felt a bit smoother.

It does the job as a sand and water bowl, and the lid is handy for keeping things clean between uses. But at 83 pounds for the 40-inch size, you'll definitely want a permanent spot for it—moving it around is a workout.
