The pages are thick and sturdy enough for my toddler to turn alone, and the simple text actually sparks good conversations about sharing at daycare. We've already noticed her pointing out other kids' feelings during playtime.

My 2-year-old and I read these every night before bed, and he's started saying "happy" and "sad" while pointing to the faces in the illustrations. The board pages are thick enough that he can turn them himself without ripping anything, which is a huge win for us.

My toddler loves pointing at the different expressions in these books, and it's actually helping him name his own feelings. I just wish the pages were a bit sturdier since he's rough with them.
