I was a bit skeptical, but after just a week my kindergartner is pointing to the "happy" and "sad" sticks on his own. The cards are sturdy and the slots hold the craft sticks perfectly for small hands.

My 4-year-old loves picking a stick each morning to show how he’s feeling before school. The pockets are deep enough that the sticks stay put even when he grabs them. It's really helped start calm conversations about his emotions.

The craft sticks slide in and out so smoothly that my kids fight over whose turn it is to pick one. It's helped my 5-year-old actually say "I'm frustrated" instead of just melting down, which feels like a small miracle.
