I'm a lead teacher in a mixed-language classroom and this is the first PD book that actually gives me lesson tweaks I can use tomorrow, not just theory. The chapter on assessing progress without standardized tests was worth the price alone.

The research-based strategies in this book are practical and easy to apply, especially the sections on supporting multiple languages without slowing down the class. My only mild complaint is that I wish it included more sample lesson plans for mixed-language groups. Still, it’s already helped me adj
