My kids built an entire town around these six buildings this morning and the fire station was instantly the favorite. The wood is smooth and sturdy, perfect for little hands that aren't always gentle.

The grocery store is the first thing my daughter grabs every time—she stacks the little wooden shelves and loads them with pretend cans. The six buildings are sturdy and the roof pieces stay put, which is a relief since my twins play rough with them.

My son loves setting up the hospital and fire station side by side for his rescue missions—the chunky wood pieces are sturdy enough to handle daily play.
