Sensory Play Stones: Bugs - 12 Pieces

The textured wings on the caterpillar stone are incredibly lifelike, and my son spent a good ten minutes just rubbing his fingers over them during outdoor play. These bugs have already sparked some creative stories about a tiny insect village in the garden.

My toddler grabbed the ladybug first and wouldn’t put it down, so we took them outside and buried a few in the sandbox for a quick treasure hunt. The texture on each stone is different enough to keep her guessing, and they’ve survived being dropped on concrete twice without a chip.

My toddler carries these bug stones everywhere—the tactile detail on each one is amazing, and they've sparked so much pretend play about the garden. They're solid enough for outdoor digging adventures too, which is exactly what I wanted.
