Super Magnet Lab - 119 Pieces

The horseshoe magnet is way stronger than I expected for a classroom set, and the 119 pieces split nicely among small groups. My first graders have been fighting over the wands, which says it all.

The set includes enough pieces and a handy storage box for a small classroom, and I love that my first-graders can all experiment together. The magnetic wands have a nice weight and make the iron filings dance exactly as promised.

My kids spent the whole afternoon testing how many paperclips the different horseshoe magnets could lift. The set includes enough variety that the whole class can experiment at once without fighting over pieces.
