My kid kept undoing the snaps on this thing just to redo them, which is exactly what I wanted. The lacing section is a nice first step, but the zipper practice is what really got them focused for a solid twenty minutes.

The zipper part is the surprise hit here—my son asks to "practice" it every evening, and I can see his fingers getting more precise with the snap buttons too. It's sturdy enough for his tugging and keeps him focused way longer than I expected for a lacing toy.

My 4-year-old has been obsessed with the zipper, and I love that she's learning real-life skills without even realizing it. The laces are a bit tricky for her still, but the progression from lacing to snaps is perfect for building confidence.
