We've been reading one each night before bed and the stories spark such good talks about feelings with my 4-year-old. The paperbacks are sturdy enough for little hands to turn pages on their own, and the collection covers so many emotions.

My toddler loves flipping through these and pointing at the expressive faces on every page. The stories feel reassuring without being preachy, which is exactly what we needed for talking about big emotions. It’s quickly become our go-to bedtime set.

The illustrations are really bright and engaging, but I wish the stories dug a little deeper into the feelings they're supposed to teach. My 4-year-old enjoys them, though they feel a bit too simple for his age. A good starting point for conversations, but not as impactful as I'd hoped.
