We’ve had ours for two weeks now and the height is just right for a four-year-old to reach without tipping. The wooden top has already survived a few crayon scribbles and wiped clean easily, which is all I really asked for.

My 5-year-old uses this every day for her art projects, and the smaller size lets her sit comfortably without her legs dangling. The wood surface has held up well to marker spills and crayon scrubbing, which is a huge plus for us.

We bought this for our daughter’s playroom, and the size is just right for her to sit and practice writing without hunching over. She's already using it for tracing letters and it feels sturdy enough for daily use, so I'm happy with the purchase.
