My kids loved using this as a director's slate for their homemade play—the classic wood design and 7x8 size made it easy for them to hold and snap together dramatically.

The wood feels solid and well-made for the price, and the 7x8 size is perfect for little hands to snap during our backyard theater nights. My daughter’s school play got a real movie-set vibe from it.

My kids put on a little show in the living room and this clapboard was the perfect touch—the wood feels sturdy and the 7" x 8" size is just right for small hands. It actually makes a satisfying clap sound when you snap it, which got them giggling every time.
