I was worried the mail slot would be just a decoration, but our three-year-old actually loves dropping leaves and sticks through it. The little bucket and planting tray are getting a ton of use too. It's been a solid investment for backyard play.

My toddler spends ages at the water pump, filling the bucket and pouring it out again—it actually works, which is way more engaging than I expected. The mail slot is a cute touch too, and after a month of daily play, everything still looks brand new.

I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy the mail slot and paddle are—my son has been checking the "mail" every morning since we set it up. The planting station gets a lot of use too, and it's held up well to our muddy backyard adventures.
