My kid has been bending these into animals and letters nonstop since they arrived. They're exactly eight inches long so you can make decent sized shapes, and the fact that they're ready to use with no mess is a lifesaver.

The 8-inch strips are the perfect length for little hands to twist into shapes, and the fiber strand through the middle keeps them from snapping apart. My kids have rebuilt their sculptures three times now and the sticks still bend just as easily. Truly no mess, which is exactly what I hoped for.
