A slide designed for this age group combines with a climber that can be used in various ways to support the transition from crawling to climbing to walking. Children often crawl to the slide platform and pivot their bodies to slide down on their stomachs. The platform between the climber and the slide is sized to support the free-movement play behaviors typical for this age group and offer opportunities for them to explore and get into position before sliding.
