Create An Enchanting Reading Space

2 years & up. Foster a child's innate enthusiasm for the natural world with the enchanting Reading Tree. The lofty tree provides an instinctive, organic reading space in any classroom. Our comfortable, four-cubby benches with vinyl back and soft, comfortable seat cushions easily attach to the base of the tree and are ideal for reading, quiet play, or small group activities. The shelves within the tree trunk are perfect for displaying favorite books or toys, and two rows of branches with removable, oversized leaves create a welcoming canopy for children to relax underneath. You can even add extra wonder to your canopy by hanging decorations or student projects from the pre-drilled holes along the branches. Constructed of solid birch, the Reading Tree is built to withstand rigorous classroom use, and with rounded, smooth-sanded, child-safe corners, complete with a 5-step protective UV finish, making it durable and easy to clean.

Please note the Reading Tree in 90-degree configurations must be secured to a wall to ensure proper stability. Wall mounting hardware not included. The type of fasteners you need will vary based on the material of the wall. Use fasteners appropriate for the walls in your classroom. Ships ready to assemble.

Avery ★★★★★

My four-year-old loves climbing into the 90-degree nook to "read" her picture books. The wood feels smooth and sturdy, and it’s already become her favorite cozy spot.

Avery D. ★★★★★

The bench is the perfect height for my toddler to climb up by herself, and the open cubby underneath holds a stack of her favorite picture books. She’s already claimed the nook as her quiet corner, and I love that it’s made of solid wood that feels sturdy even when she leans on it.

Adam O. ★★★★★

My daughter immediately claimed the angled bench as her secret reading spot, and I love how the tree's organic shape makes the corner of her room feel like a tiny forest. The 90-degree design fits perfectly into an unused nook we had.
