Riley S. ★★★★★

My 4-year-old was so excited to actually see the veins on a leaf up close with this microscope. The sturdy, kid-friendly design means it survives being dropped on the floor during our backyard explorations. It's a solid first tool for sparking that early curiosity about science.

My 3-year-old can actually use the focus wheel by herself, which surprised me. The built-in light makes specimens easy to see indoors. It loses a star because the plastic stage feels a bit flimsy when you press too hard.

Joshua ★★★★☆

The large eyepiece made it easy for my little one to focus without squinting, which was a nice surprise. I wish the focusing knob was a bit smoother to turn but for a starter scope it does the job. We’ve spent a good few mornings looking at leaves and dirt.
