The two-toned sides make it easy to visually separate groups during counting games, and the plastic pieces feel sturdy enough for kindergarten hands. I just wish the container had a snap-on lid, since my kids keep spilling them everywhere. Still, 200 pieces is plenty for basic addition practice.
