New Sprouts(R) Multicultural Foods

My toddler kept asking for "the noodles" by name, so these have been a hit at every pretend dinner. The authentic look of the mini naan and taco shells makes her stop and study each piece before serving. I love that she's learning about new foods through play without me having to cook anything.

My toddler’s been playing “restaurant” all week with these, and the food pieces actually look real enough that she tried to take a bite of the taco. The authentic details have sparked lots of questions about where the foods come from, which is a nice bonus for a toy.

The pieces look realistic enough for pretend play, but a few of them are surprisingly hard for little hands to grip. I do wish the set included a wider variety of foods for the price.
