Elizabeth ★★★★★

My 8-year-old flew through the biography on Amelia Earhart and now wants to read the rest of the set. The reading level is spot-on for a curious 4th grader, making these complex lives easy to understand.

Elizabeth ★★★★☆

The set covers a nice range of historical figures, and the reading level is spot-on for my 4th grader. I do wish the binding felt a bit sturdier since we've had a few pages get dog-eared, but the content itself has sparked some great dinner-table conversations.

Sebastian ★★★☆☆

The set covers a good range of figures for the grade level, but the pages feel pretty thin and the font is a bit small for reluctant readers. It's a solid pick for a classroom library, just not something my kid grabs on his own.
