My kindergartners stay exactly on their colored square during story time, and the 30 squares give just enough space for everyone without crowding. The rug stays in place even on our tile floor, which was a nice surprise.

The earth tones blend right into our classroom floor, and kids actually fight over which square they get to sit on each day. The 30 squares give us plenty of room for a full class of 24 with extra space for stretching out.

The colored squares are perfectly sized for my classroom kids, giving each child their own defined spot with enough wiggle room to stay comfortable. The subtle earth tones are calming and fit our daily literacy circle perfectly.
