Pound-A-Peg Wooden Hammer Bench

My two-year-old has been banging on these pegs for weeks and still hasn't gotten bored, which says a lot for her attention span. The solid wood bench has survived being sat on, dropped, and chewed on with barely a scratch. Eight pegs means there's always another one waiting for the hammer.

The flip-and-restart design is genius — my two-year-old hammers all eight pegs down, then just turns the bench over and goes again. The wooden mallet is the perfect size for his little grip.

My toddler keeps coming back to this bench every single day, and I love that the hammer is solid wood so it can really take a beating. The pegs slide in smoothly and flipping the whole bench over for round two is genius for keeping her attention.
