Kinderpottenbakkersschijf

My six-year-old hasn’t stopped using this since it arrived—the wheel actually turns smoothly enough for tiny hands to shape real little bowls, and the mess is contained enough that I don’t dread cleanup. It’s the perfect first step into pottery for a kid who’s always watching me craft.

My four-year-old has been completely absorbed with this wheel for the last hour—the foot pedal control is surprisingly responsive for a kids' craft set. It's messy fun, but the clay actually stays on the wheel better than I expected for the price point.

The wheel spins well enough for the price, but the included clay is pretty basic and dries out fast. It kept my five-year-old busy for a while, though the motor can be a bit loud.
