Van rups tot vlinder - paperback

The photos of each stage are so clear that my son started pointing out "real caterpillars" on our walks, and he finally understands why the butterfly looks so different from the fuzzy bug we found. It's the kind of book that turns a simple story into a week of backyard science.

My 4-year-old couldn’t stop asking to read it again, and the lifecycle progression kept her engaged from egg to butterfly. The sturdy paperback pages held up well through multiple bedtime readings.

The pages have held up well after my son flipped through them a dozen times, and the simple text makes it easy for him to follow along with the caterpillar's changes. A tiny bit more detail on the butterfly stage would have been nice, but it's a solid introduction for his age.
