My three-year-old actually started sorting the play food into groups on his own after just one play session. The pretend veggies look realistic enough that he pretends to “wash” them before cooking. We use it daily now to practice making pretend balanced meals together.

The pieces are decently sized for small hands, but the plastic feels a bit flimsier than I expected. My kid enjoys sorting them into pretend meals, though the set could use more vegetable options. It works fine for basic play, just don’t expect it to hold up to rough treatment.
