The built-in compass is a nice touch, and the magnified view actually makes pebbles and bark look fascinating instead of just being another toy. My daughter’s been carrying them on every walk for a week now.

My son loves taking these outside to look at the tiny sparkly bits in ordinary gravel. The lens is clear and easy for his little hands to focus.

My 4-year-old is obsessed with these — the magnified view makes even a plain pebble look like a tiny moon surface. They’re sturdy enough for little hands and actually get him to stop and look closely instead of just running past everything.
