The labeled half makes it so easy for my students to identify each part during our life science unit—they were pointing out stamens and pistils by the end of the first lesson. The foam is sturdy enough to survive being passed around a whole class.

I bought this for my third-grade science unit, and the labeled cross-section of the tulip made it so easy for the kids to point out the stamen and pistil. The durable foam held up to a lot of eager little hands, and it’s much clearer than any diagram in a textbook.

I wish the unlabeled side had the same cutaway detail as the labeled half, but the sturdy foam holds up well for multiple lessons. My third graders finally understand where pollen comes from.
