The open-ended nature of this kit really shines with my 18-month-old—she’s constantly sorting the colorful pieces and holding them up to the window to see the shadows change. It’s a simple setup, but I love that it grows with her as she starts asking “why” about everything.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much our 2-year-old engaged with the included colored lenses and prisms. It sparks great conversations about mixing colors, though a few of the smaller pieces are a bit tricky for his hands to grab. A solid pick for open-ended exploration.

We’ve had this for about a week, and while my two-year-old enjoys sorting the colored pieces, the included “experiment” cards feel too advanced for her age. The acrylic blocks are nice and chunky for little hands, though.
