We did these at a birthday party and the kids were amazed how the colors didn’t muddy together. The all-in-one setup made cleanup so easy, and seeing the science of the dye spread kept them engaged for over an hour.

The color payoff was way better than I expected for a kids' kit—the shirts came out bright and even after just one rinse. My students stayed engaged for a solid hour, and the sensory part of squishing the dye bags was half the fun.

The kit kept my kids busy for an entire afternoon, and I loved that it’s meant for ages 5 and up so my youngest could join in without me hovering. The colors came out surprisingly bright, and it felt like a great way to combine art with a little science talk about how the dyes set.
