My kids had a blast decorating these wooden people for a family tree craft. The set comes with 36 sticks evenly split between boys and girls, which gave everyone plenty to work with and the wood took marker really well.

The wood has a nice smooth surface that paint grabs onto perfectly, and my kids loved decorating the little people with faces and clothes. Having 18 of each gender made it easy to create a whole family scene for their art project.

I picked these up for a school project and was pleased they come in equal numbers of boys and girls—makes it easy for the whole class to join in. The wood is sturdy enough for the paint we used, though a couple had slight splinters I had to sand down.
