Finally, a hands-on way to make kids actually think about what they’re reading instead of just zoning out. The color-coded cubes for before, during, and after reading are brilliant, and my second grader loves rolling them during our nightly story time. It’s turned a chore into a fun little game.

The color-coded cubes make it easy to assign different phases of reading, and the red ones really got my students thinking before they even opened their books. Wish there were a few more question prompts per cube, but the surprise element keeps them engaged.

My third graders enjoyed rolling the cubes, but the questions on the red and blue dice felt a bit repetitive after the first few uses. The concept is solid for mixing up reading time, just wish there were more variety in the prompts.
