赤い葉、黄色い葉 - ハードカバー

The watercolor collages with real seeds and roots glued in are so tactile my kid traces them with her finger every time. It's a beautiful way to teach about trees without being preachy.

My three-year-old asks for this one every single night, and I don't mind at all—the layered watercolor collages with real bits of fabric and root are genuinely beautiful to look at. The glossary at the back even taught me a thing or two about how trees absorb nutrients.

The collage of actual seeds and roots on the pages made this feel like uncovering a tiny forest with my son. He spent a good ten minutes just touching the fabric and wire textures, and the glossary was a lifesaver for explaining everything.
