木製幾何学立体

The 2-inch wooden cube and cone are sanded so smooth there's not a single splinter, which matters with a 6-year-old grabbing them. We use them for a volume lesson with rice, and the fact that the bases are flat means the cylinders actually sit still.

My kids use these for stacking and sorting way more than I expected, and I've caught myself comparing the cone's volume to the cylinder just for fun. The wood has a nice weight to it, so the pieces don't slide around during lessons.

The set arrived with every piece sanded to a silky smoothness, so handling them feels great for small hands. We've been using the prisms and the sphere to talk about volume, and having the actual solids makes the concept click far better than any drawing.
