My toddler asks for this one every single night now—the rhyming text flows so smoothly that I've practically memorized it. Watching the pond animals change through the seasons in the illustrations keeps her pointing and giggling long after we finish.

Natalie ★★★★★ Oct 19, 2026

The watercolor illustrations of the pond through the changing seasons are gorgeous, and the rhyming text is a joy to read aloud. My kid loves pointing out each animal as we flip through, and I never get tired of the rhythm.

My toddler demands this book every night—the rhyming text is so catchy I find myself reciting it out loud. The way the illustrations shift from spring to autumn makes each read feel like a little journey.
