Assembling it took a bit, but the rounded edges are a nice touch since my kids are always running past it. The plywood feels solid, and that Tuff-Glo finish wipes clean after paint spills without leaving any marks.

The hutch is exactly what I needed to keep my stationery and paints from taking over the whole room, and the plywood feels solid enough to last years. Assembly took me an evening, but the work surface is perfectly smooth and the rounded edges make it safe even with kids around.

The hutch shelves are perfectly deep for stacking sketchbooks and ink bottles, and the plywood top has held up beautifully under my daily typing and doodling. Took about an hour to assemble alone, but the extra storage makes it feel like a dedicated corner office.
