The textured feel of these bears makes them easy for small hands to grip, and the bright colors keep my son engaged as he counts them in little groups. We've been using them to practice simple addition, and he's already improving.

My 4-year-old loves sorting these bears by color and counting them out for little math games. The textured surface makes them easy for small hands to grip and keeps his attention way longer than flashcards ever did.

The bears are bright and chunky enough for small hands, but the colors aren't as distinct as I'd like for sorting activities. They work fine for basic counting, though the texture is more subtle than the description suggests.
