MyPlate Felt Set - 56 Pieces

I hang these felt pieces on the fridge with magnets and my 4-year-old sorts the food groups during snack time. The real images make it easy for her to identify fruits, vegetables, and grains compared to cartoon pictures. She already asks for a balanced plate more often.

The photos on the felt pieces are real food images, which makes it way easier for my kindergartner to grasp portion sizes than the cartoon versions we tried before. We've used it almost every night to plan dinner together, and the pieces stick nicely to our felt board without sliding off.

My toddler loves sorting the food pieces by the MyPlate sections, though I wish the felt stuck a bit better to our play board. The real food images are a nice touch for teaching healthy choices.
