Simple Machines STEM Activity Set

My six-year-old grabbed this the moment the box opened, and the colorful pieces immediately got her building without needing me to explain anything. The hands-on experiments feel genuinely educational, not just flashy, and she's been asking to "do science" every afternoon since.

Got this for my kindergartner and the colorful tools made it easy for her to follow along with the experiments. The hands-on activities kept her engaged longer than I expected, though I wish there were a few more challenge cards included.

The pulley and lever pieces are sturdy enough for my kindergartner to experiment with, but the instruction booklet could use clearer steps for some of the builds. We managed to figure it out together, though, and he did enjoy the hands-on play.
