The magnifying glass really brings out the fine details on these bugs; my son spent a solid 20 minutes comparing the textures of the beetle and the scorpion. Great way to spark curiosity about different ecosystems without any mess.

My 4-year-old has been carrying these bugs around for a week straight, examining the details on the centipede with the magnifying glass. The different ecosystems printed on the info card make it easy to turn play into a little science lesson. Solid, well-painted toys that hold up to daily use.

The bugs feel surprisingly sturdy for little plastic toys, and my kid loves sorting them by ecosystem while I quiz him on which habitat each one comes from. Four stars because the magnifying glass is a bit small for adult hands, but it works fine for a preschooler.
