My son immediately noticed how the "skin tones" actually match his friends—the peach and almond shades are spot-on for coloring portraits. It's refreshing to see such a diverse range packed into a simple pencil set.

My daughter spent an hour sorting these into a rainbow of skin tones before she even started drawing. The 24 shades are so distinct that she finally found one that matches her best friend perfectly, and the pencils sharpen without breaking.

The skin tones are a nice concept, but the pencils feel a bit waxy and don't blend as smoothly as I'd hoped. They work okay for basic coloring, just nothing special.
