Picked this up for my three-year-old niece and the playful sound it makes when she taps it with her fingers is exactly what I hoped for. The wood carving gives it a nice, natural feel that stands out from plastic toys.

My son loves how the carved wood feels in his small hands, and the playful sound it makes when he taps it with his fingers is just right for a three-year-old. The compact size is perfect for his little lap.

Got this for my nephew, and the carved wood finish makes it feel sturdier than a typical toy drum. It's small enough for his hands, and the sound is playful without being obnoxiously loud. He's been tapping out rhythms on it for days.
