My three-year-old actually asks to "play feelings" now—the wooden tiles are chunky enough for small hands, and the 12 emotions give us plenty to talk about at snack time. Matching the faces to the tiles has become our little ritual.

We’ve been using these tiles to help our 3-year-old name feelings during tantrums, and the smooth wooden finish makes them easy for her to hold. Having two tiles per emotion is great for matching games, and she’s already pointing out “happy” and “sad” on her own.

My toddler loves flipping through the wooden tiles to find the sad face when she's upset. The thick tiles feel sturdy enough for her small hands.
