My toddler's favorite part is sliding the secret garden in and out—she'll do it for ten minutes straight while the little characters watch. The interior and exterior scenes give us plenty to talk about during play, and at 18 months she can manage the doors on her own.

The secret garden sliding in and out is my toddler’s absolute favorite part, and she loves opening the doors to move her characters around. It’s sturdy enough for her to play with roughly, and I’ve seen her quietly act out little scenes for twenty minutes at a time. Exactly what I hoped for at this

The doors actually swing open smoothly, which is perfect for my toddler’s little hands. The interior and exterior scenes keep her engaged during playtime, though I wish the little chairs stayed put a bit better.
