My three-year-old’s grip has noticeably improved after a week of using these, and the squeeze-to-open motion is way more intuitive for her than regular tongs. We’ve been picking up pom-poms during playtime, and it’s honestly the first tool she actually reaches for on her own.

We bought these for some fine motor play and my 4-year-old really enjoys squeezing the middle to grab small toys. The hand-strengthening aspect is a nice bonus, though I wish the grip was a bit grippier for sand.

It works as described, and my 3-year-old enjoys the squeezing motion to open the tips. The grip is fine, though I wish it felt a bit sturdier for the price. Still, it seems to help with his hand coordination.
