My four-year-old has been practicing his pincer grip picking up these little insects with tweezers, and I've already seen a big improvement in how he holds his crayon. The variety of bugs means he's learning names like "ladybug" and "bee" while we play, which is a nice bonus.

My toddler loves sorting these bugs by color and trying to name the different insects—the ladybug and bee are his favorites. The pieces are sturdy enough for small hands to grab and move around, which has been great for his fine motor skills.
