My toddler loves sorting the leaves by color before lacing them—it keeps her focused for much longer than I expected. The holes are just the right size for the included lace, and the wooden pieces feel sturdy.

The lacing holes are wide enough that my kid can thread the string without frustration, which is a big win for us. Sorting the leaves by color keeps her busy for a good stretch, though the string could be a bit longer for making full garlands.

My four-year-old really enjoys the challenge of lacing the leaves in the correct color sequence. The holes are a good size for her fingers, though a stiffer lace tip would make the first thread a bit easier for her.
